Youth Fun Night
Wednesday nights from 6:30pm – 8:00pm we have what we refer to as “Youth Fun Night” here at CCC. The Youth Director and the Youth Ministry Team try to provide a “fun” atmosphere where youth from middle school through high school age can come and just enjoy themselves! They can enjoy activities like ping-pong or air hockey, or they can choose from a variety of board games. If they just want to come and hang-out, mingle, or do their homework, that’s OK as well! Group games, activities, and outings are also occasionally scheduled during this time. “Youth Fun Nights” also includes a time of bible devotion, and our meetings are always closed in a prayer circle!!
Youth Bible Study
Sunday nights from 6:00pm – 7:00pm is “Youth Bible Study” for youth middle school through high school age. The Youth Director and the Youth Ministry Team strive to put together lessons and studies that are spiritually nourishing and intriguing for the youth who attend! Challenges such as: Bible Drills, Bible Trivia etc., are also occasionally given to the youth during this time. Oh ye ah, before we get into our bible study time, we like to provide the group with some food, drink and a time of just hanging out together!

G.A.P. Puppet Ministry Team
The GAP (God's Army of Puppets) puppet team was formed 3 years ago as a way of getting the middle school age children more involved. The love of the puppets from our congregation is overwhelming! Through generous donations and participation in fund raisers we have sponsored, our team has acquired professional equipment to do our puppet shows with. The first thing we needed were puppets to perform with. We ran an adoption and placed pictures of puppets on our wishlist on a bulletin board. Families of the church chose these kids (puppets) to be a part of their family and adopted them. We now house 28 puppets in our church dormitory! GAP uses these puppets to minister at the nursing home, area churches, at the horsepark (during the Bluegrass Festival), and at our own church. The audiences we have had attend our shows have been all ages and teaching the Word through puppets is such a blessing! All ages respond to the puppets with an open heart. I think our adults enjoy the puppets as much, if not more, than our children at the church. Our team meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00pm to 7:00pm and then the children are dismissed to go into their Wednesday night classes. Puppet team members are: Leader: Betty Rodgers-puppeteers: Kayla Whalen, Nicky Durman, Kathy Durman, Emily Rodgers, Kayla Poff, Tyler Lenz, Jacob McKnight, and Ashley Hair- Assistants: Vicky Whitlow and Kathy Acres.
